Cuisinart was founded by Carl and Shirley Sontheimer, which is a well know manufacturer of small kitchen appliances. In the year 1988 the owners of Cuisinart sold the company to E. F. Hutton chair Robert Fomon and then the company was renamed as the Cuisinart, Inc., again the company was sold to Conair Corporation. This company was a national manufacturer of home appliances and personal care products based in Stamford, Connecticut. Conair renamed the company Cuisinart Corporation and instituted a new marketing program for its products. |
