Espresso maker is a type of a coffee maker that forces live steam under pressure through dark roasted coffee grounds. This is one of the most efficient and quicker way to prepare espresso coffee for instant energy. It uses steam to force the water through the grounds instead of a pump and only generate about 3 atmospheres or bars of pressure.
There are basically five types of espresso machines that can be grouped into the following categories:
Manual Espresso Maker - uses a lever to force the water through the grounds, and allows the user to control how the espresso is made; Semi-Automatic Espresso Maker - allows addition of coffee manually and then pump starts and stops when user pushes the brew button; Full Automatic Espresso Maker - operated electrically and the user presses a switch and the machine automatically functions; Super-Automatic Espresso Maker :- operates electrically and automatically grinds espresso beans, tamps it into a puck, doses proper amount of water and discards puck into an internal dump box. |
