Flavored coffee is nothing, but making the coffee more appealing by adding complimentary flavors.
This is done by a process, which involves the treatment of freshly roasted beans with chemical flavorings (sometimes natural, and sometimes not). Making a flavored coffee involves three main factors: the selection of coffee, the quality of flavors, and the procedure used to process the above ingredients. Most common flavorings are Chocolate, Vanilla, Fruit, Nuts, Spice, Caramel and Distilled Spirits.
Some of these flavors are derived from the natural plant itself, while others are created by mimicking the natural oil and aromatic flavor components of the targeted taste. These flavors are usually in the liquid form. The roasted coffee beans and the respective flavor is combined, and stirred, so that all the beans are well coated. Then these are packed in sealed bags, so as to retain their freshness |
