Desiderio Pavoni the founder of La Pavoni had a very humble beginning with just a little workshop in at Via Parini in Milan in 1905. His first invention was patented on 1st September 1902 by Luigi Bezzera which was the first espresso coffee machine. The espresso machine was especially designed for a bar called “Ideale”.

 Since then the company has been manufacturing machines for espresso and cappuccino coffee. It also branched off its attention in research and development of new products, design, production, sales and after sales. La Pavoni hired world class product designers like Gio Ponti, Alberto Rosselli, Antonio Fornaroli and Munari who took the name La Pavoni to different heights.
La Pavoni have their products for both commercial and domestic use. The machines are seen at home, in the bars and restaurants. So it may be that the favorite espresso coffee you are having in a restaurant is of La Pavoni coffee maker. |
