How does the Bunn Coffee Maker Model B10 do this? When you first set the Bunn B10 up, you add up to 10 cups of cold water to the water reservoir and turn the power switch on. To begin brewing, you simply add cold water to the reservoir, which then displaces the hot water already in the system. Simple Controls Simple and quick operation is the key with the Bunn B10. There are no timers or clocks. Two switches control the whole operation. The main power switch is located on the side of the machine and it is called the Vacation switch. Since the Bunn B10 is always keeping the water hot, you should turn the brewer off before leaving for extended periods of time (longer than 2 days). When you return, turn on the switch and the machine will be ready to brew coffee after 15 minutes of heating. An illuminated switch located on the front of the machine turns the warming plate for the carafe on or off.
