BUYING A STOVETOP COFFEE PERCOLATOR
A coffee percolator is a pot used for brewing coffee. There are different types of percolators available depending on the source of heat. A coffee percolator works by keeping the boiling water up through a tube, then poured on coffee grounds. This process is repeated until the desired result is achieved.
Stovetop percolators should be attended while brewing, so that they can be removed from the heat source when brewing is completed. If left on the heat source for too long, they may lead to over-boiling, which tends to release bitterness in the coffee and mask distinct flavors and tastier blends.
